Portrait number three #30days30portraits

Portrait number three is of a lovely little girl named Peyton whose mum sent me her pictures. She has such a sweet little face. I am so unused to working in pastels - I think it will take a few portraits before I relax into them. Kathy, Peyton's mum did not see the broadcast live but she did manage to see it on playback, as did Peyton.   Her mum has since told me that it is interesting that her portrait is number three, as Peyton was born early at 33 weeks weighing just 3 pounds on the 3rd of the month. She was in the hospital for 3 weeks and was released on December 30th. So lots of number three's in her life. Her grandad reckoned that 3 was a holy number and that Peyton would be fine. She was and she is.   And now she is number three - funny how things happen.   It is so great that people are starting to send me lots of images via Twitter to @OonaghLatchfordArt hashtag  #30days30portraits It is really exciting for me to log on and see all the lovely messages from all of you and I love how quite unexpectedly lots of you are sending me lovely little story's relating to the photos.
